Having Trouble….Can anyone help?
Ok…I’m usually very good at learning new things. But One Great Family has me stumped, aggravated and frustrated! I signed up for One great Family and downloaded the necessary Genealogy Browser. This browser is supposed to communicate with the website all updates you make, etc. in order for your home page at One Great Family to show the updates and give you lots of cool tools….the only problem is, mine hasn’t updated since two days ago when I first signed up. Everything has been changed since then, I deleted quite a few people and have added others.
Also, the genealogy browser crashes quite a bit. I have only purposely closed it once…all other times it closed because it crashed.
Has anyone else reading this had this problem? How did you solve the problem? Oh, so far One Great Family hasn’t been of any help. I’ve emailed them three times, once yesterday they responded with “It may take a while…” Well, it has been two days since it last updated, if that’s normal then the service isn’t all that great. I believe, however, that there is some sort of glitch.. I may have even done it myself back when I first signed up. I don’t like not being able to delete groups, when I buy something new I like to mess with it a while to get a feel for it. I have an Ancestry membership and I’ve never messed anything up there by messing around with the “My Ancestry” section. I can create and delete at will and nothing bad happens…it all updates immediately.
One Great Family seems to be a good thing…if it would work. If/when I hear back from them I’ll post my findings.

Hi GenLady,
I also am having the problem of the browser crashing.
This happens every time I enter or replace information.
I have been communicating with OGF since 2nd Feb to get this resolved, but they say that they know nothing of this problem.
I’ve tried deleting and reinstalling the browser, but this has made no difference.
How was your problem resolved?
